Living on the Edge: True Tales of Life on the Margin

The Hearth: Real Stories by Regular Folks presents its fall event October 18th from 7 to 9 pm at 717 Siskiyou blvd in Ashland (the grey First Congregational Church). Come and hear true tales about Honduran death squads, life as a Burmese refugee, father-daughter interventions, and life among the trees, as well as other stories of life on the margin. Tellers include Lucy Edwards, Kevin Williams, Daniel Jokelson, Fred Stockwell, Lorraine Cook, and Nancy Morgan. Hosted by Mark Yaconelli with music by Duane Whitcomb and surprise guests!  Cost is $5 and all proceeds will go to Eyes to Burma. For more information go to
