January 27-28. Albuquerque, NM. The Power of Personal Storytelling. Mark will lead a one day workshop on personal storytelling on Saturday, January 27th at Covenant Presbyterian Church from 9am to 4pm. Mark will also preach on Sunday. Workshop is open to the public.
February 9-11. Key West, FL. Retreat and storytelling workshop for Trinity Presbyterian Church. Events are closed to public.
February 19-25. Austin, TX. Mark will be consulting with the 787 Collective, a project that seeks to do innovative work with young adults.
March 4-7. Indianapolis, IN. Consultation with the Lilly Endowment Young Adult Innovation project.
March 9-11. Traverse City, MI. Keynote speaker at the Genesis youth event
March 17. Berkeley, CA. Youth Ministry Symposium at Church Divinity School of the Pacific. Mark will lead a daylong workshop on contemplative youth ministry. Open to the public.
April 2-6, Lincoln, OR. Boys and Girls Club of St. Helena and Calistoga youth retreat. Mark will serve as retreat director. For more information go here.
April 26-28. Ashland, OR. Finding Our Way: A Community Exploration of Compassion. Three days of events focused on exploring compassion-based skills for bridging divisive issues within families, workplace, and the public square. Featured events include a talk by celebrated author Anne Lamott and a Saturday retreat with Mark Yaconelli and Anne Lamott. More information including tickets here.
September 21-22. Austin, TX. The 787 Collective retreat. A closed retreat. Mark Yaconelli will serve as consultant.
September 27-October 4. St. Albans, United Kingdom. Mark will lead a variety of retreats and workshops for parents, youth leaders, and youth across the Diocese of St. Albans. For more information contact the youth department of St. Albans here.
October 18-19. Bend, OR. The Oregon Community Foundation staff retreat. Closed event.
October 25-28. Ashland, OR. The Hearth presents The Certificate in Community Storytelling. A seven month training program in the art of applied, transformational storytelling based on the experience of The Hearth. For more information go here.
