January 24-25. Medford, OR. Mark will present the 2019 Gillespie Lecture: “Your Life as a Sacred Story” from 7 to 9pm on Thursday, January 24th at the Community Hall at Rogue Valley Manor. The lecture will be followed by a two hour workshop on The Power of Personal Storytelling from 10am-12pm on Friday, January 25th.
February 5-7. Seattle, WA. Mark will preach at chapel, visit classes, and then present a public event on The Power and Practice of Personal Storytelling at Seattle Pacific University. Public workshop is from 9am-12pm on Thursday, February 7th. Register here.
February 9. St. Paul, MN. Workshops on the practice of discernment for Augsburg University’s Riverside Innovation Hub. An evening story exchange between area church leaders and local young adults. Closed event.
March 10-13. Indianapolis, IN. Consultation with the Lilly Endowment Young Adult Innovation project.
March 20-21. Ashland, OR. The Hearth presents The Certificate in Community Storytelling. SOLD OUT.
May 9. Calistoga, CA. “Stranger in a Strange Land” a community storytelling event produced by The Hearth. Open to the public. Funds to support The Boys and Girls Club of Calistoga.
June 23-28. Hunt, TX. Youth Assembly. Presbyterian Church U.S.A. A week-long camp for high school youth. Mark will serve as keynote speaker. For more information go here.
September 20-21. Austin, TX. The 787 Collective retreat. A closed retreat. Mark Yaconelli will serve as consultant.
October 3-7. Minneapolis, MN The Power and Practice of Community Storytelling. This will be a four-day training sponsored by Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and open to other churches involved in the Riverside Collective at Augsburg University.
October 11-12. Bend, OR Mark will be the keynote speaker at “The Community Building Summit” sponsored by The Ford Family Foundation.
October 23-26. Ashland, OR. The Hearth presents The Certificate in Community Storytelling. SOLD OUT.
November 2. St. Helena, CA. “There’s No Place Like Home.” A community storytelling event produced by The Hearth. Open to the public. Funds to support The Boys and Girls Club of St. Helena.
